How to get Buff?

How are you getting so ripped man? You're just using the perfect pushups and that's it?

Yes. That is it! That's all I am doing and that's not a lie. For the passed week I have only been doing the Perfect Pushups! It's the end of the semester and I don't have much of a choice, but to wait until weight training starts back up. That's hard when it's been snowing almost everyday. So, why am I getting bigger and still getting ripped?

I added 5000 calories to my diet. I am such a small guy with such a speedy metabolism that for me to gain I have to eat! Not only do I have to eat a lot, 1000 calories a meal, I have to eat often, 7 times a day. Now, this may sound like a lot and for some people it may be, but for me it's not.

If you're ever going to make gains you need to start pulling in the calories. If you don't you are doing nothing. You are working your body and maybe seeing little gains, but if you really want to gain big then eat a lot and keep track of what you're eating!

Perfect Push Ups Scores an 8 out of 10

The Perfect Push ups are awesome. Period. It makes push ups so much more difficult. It also provides for more of a workout and is a great way to get your upper body in shape.

The way the Perfect Push ups are made allows the user to go down further than normally possible on a regular push up. Thus, the upper back is also worked out. Besides the fact that the Perfect Push ups work different parts of the body than a normal push up, they also work the same parts of your body a normal push up would, but in a way that a more difficult and intense workout will be provided.

The rotation in the push ups are great. Because of this rotation, the user gets not only different muscle worked out, but the muscle being worked out gets more of a workout. Imagine it like this. If bench press is performed, the burn is felt. If bench press, dumbbell bench press, and flies are performed, the burn is definitely felt. Perfect push ups is like doing bench press, dumbbell bench press, and flies all in one. The only difference is that the Perfect Push ups are more for toning.

Turning into the Hulk would not be a likely outcome from doing the Perfect Push ups. Gaining muscular endurance and getting more tone would be. If you enjoy working out, want to get more ripped, or are just looking for a fun workout the Perfect Push ups are right for you!

Review - Improvement Chart

PERFEFCT PUSH UPS REVIEW
This was my first 21 days of using the Perfect Pushups. The product is sweet, simple, and easy to use. The first days of the workout seemed really easy. Doing the regular, wide, and then inner pushups. Later on in the program things got more difficult. The number of sets on the regular pushups doubled. Soon after that they turned to elevated regular pushups. That was probably the hardest. The results that I got from the perfect pushups were amazing.

Beginning the 21 day program I could only do a max of 30 perfect pushups. After the 21 day pogram I could do a max of 40. That's a major improvement. I will again take the perfect pushup challenge and run the program again over at do perfect pushups work 2 and we'll see if I get the same amazing results.

This is a chart on how my max pushups increased over a 21 day period using the Perfect Pushups. Pretty amazing results if you ask me! Click the image for a larger view!

Day 17 - Final Day!!!!

This was the final day of my Perfect Pushup site. I ran the toughest workout and that was that. January 20th there will be a new site. Perfect Pushups 2. The information will be more organized and just easier to follow.

video

In the video I showed me doing some of the Perfect Pushups workout. The Perfect Pushups work so much
better than a regular pushup because they allow you to go down further than a regular pushup. They also work more of the smaller muscles in the forearms. They work really well!

video

The Perfect Pushups really worked my entire upper body.

I also discuss some of my other sites. (some which don't exist anymore.)

Day 12 - Back Pain

My back started hurting really bad the other day. I don't know if it was because I am taking in too much protein or because the perfect push ups. I hope my back gets better.

video

I am really tired of set backs. First my acne causes me to stop drinking milk and now this. Acne cleared up when I stopped drinking milk by the way. Anyway, I hope my back gets better soon!

day 8 - Coach says I am getting bigger

Introduction
Today was a great day. It was an off day, but I did workout in weight training. I worked my back and did some dead lifts. I was really tired after that.

video

After weight training I got a compliment from coach. He said I was getting bigger so that made me happy. Then I came home and made a protein shake which consists of 4 tbsp of peanut butter and the muscle milk plus regular milk.

night 7 - The workout was tougher

Introduction
Today was a tougher workout. This video discusses how I was really sore after the workout. I wasn't too tired at night, but as I was working out I could feel the burn. Anyway, tomorrow I have off and then the next day I do the same workout I did today. So stay updated.

video

Also
The Perfect Pushups are great and I just want everyone to be aware of that. They really do work well and they really do give you a burn. If you don't have a gym membership or a home gym, I would greatly recommend purchasing the perfect pushups!

day 7 - workout is a killer

Introduction
I am not recording my workout today although I am still following the plan. I don't see a reason for recording a pushup. By now, you probably get the idea of how perfect pushups work. Anyway, todays workout is a little tougher.
  • Regular Grip Pushups 2*3 sets / pyramid type workout
  • Inner Grip Pushups 3 sets / pyramid type workout
  • Wide Grip Pushups 3 sets / pyramid type workout

video

I am really surprised about how well the perfect push ups work. I figured it would just be another push up workout, but it's not. It's tough and it works!

night 6 - measurements

Introduction
My measurements are still around 11" straight arm and 12" flexing. I am sure I will see some big improvements in the next few weeks. Update: Why did I measure my arms? Dude! I seriously must've been on some kind of drug.

video

I guess now that I look back at this the bicep measurements are pretty pointless considering the perfect push ups mainly work out your chest area. Just note that I am getting bigger!

Eat Big Get Big 2

Introduction
To get big you have to eat big. I am not talking a few carrots more. I am talking a few meals more. If you're already eating 6 to 7 meals a day then great job. If you're not and you're body building you are wasting your time. You may say, "Well, I am taking the protein!" I don't care if you're dropping protein into the toilet every time you sit on it. Yes! Protein is important! But if you don't get in more calories then your body can burn in a day then you will not make gains.

Example

For instance, if you're like me you probably have a fast metabolism. Aka, you're a hard gainer / hardgainer. For 'us' to make gains we have to really eat big. Protein, calories, and food. You may as well eat big or go home because if you aren't eating big you will NOT GAIN!

History of my diet
On a given day I was only pulling in 2000 calories. I added 5000 calories to my diet and gained 10 lbs of lean muscle in 2 months.

Conclusion
In conclusion, protein is important, but if you don't get enough calories everything else is pointless. Even your training!

video

What's to come?
The next post I will do my night 6 measurements.

Eat or QUIT

Thank you vinja858 for the diet statistics tracking idea.

day 4 - Reg. Pushups & Weigh-In

Introduction
Today, I performed my regular push ups max and I also weighed myself. Here are the results.

Pushup Max is...
I did 45 pushups today. That's not too bad. It's actually about what I normally get and it's definitely above fitness level requirements. Not too hard to beat, but anyway, I did what I did and am cool with the results.

Weight-In
I also weighed myself today. I went ahead and hopped onto my scale (which weighs 10 pounds light) and it weighed me at 135. So 145 pounds is my true weight. I know. That's pretty small for a guy who is 6 feet tall, but what can you do?

What's to come?
Tomorrow I run my day 5 workout. To see tomorrows video click the following link. day & night 5 - My WorkOut Recorded.

night 3 - "They Work!"

Introduction
In this video I discuss how well I believe the perfect pushups work. I go into detail the muscle I think they work and why I believe they work those muscles.

Perfect Pushups allow you to...
The perfect pushups allow you to turn your wrists giving you more of a workout. The perfect pushups also relieves stress on your wrists. The perfect pushups allow you to go lower than you normally would on a regular pushup, thus giving you somewhat of a back workout.

What's to come?
Tomorrow I discuss the amount of regular pushups I can do and I also give myself a weigh in.

day 3 - Measurements

Introduction
I began the Perfect Push up program two days ago. You can check it out by clicking the following link titled, day 1 - Set Max to Set Plan. However, today I decided to measure my biceps. I really don't know why. The perfect pushups don't workout your biceps so I really don't know what I was thinking here. Hmm. Anyway, if you're curious about my bicep measurements any way here they are.

Mesurements
Without flexing my biceps measure at 11 inches or 27.9 centimeters. While flexing they measure at 12.5 inches and 31.8 centimeters. Relatively small, but I am a pretty small guy.

What's to come
Tonight I will discuss how well I think the perfect pushups work and why I think they work the way they do.

To see tonight's video click the following link
night 3 - "They Work!"

day 1 - Set Max to Set Plan

Introduction
In this video I discuss how I got the perfect pushups as a Christmas present. Sometimes gifts bring out the best in people. To first start the plan, I perform my one set max using the perfect pushups. Also, if you're new to Ultimate Perfect Pushup Review, you may want to check out this post titled, Welcome to Ultimate Perfect Pushup Review.

What happened in the video?
I performed my max and received a score of 30. That's not too bad. Why did I perform the max? The max generates your customized 21 day workout plan with the perfect pushups. That number of 30 means that I will follow the 30 max plan on the chart for 21 days.

What's to come?
Tomorrow is an off day so I begin my actual routine in 2 days. We'll see how it goes. Can't wait.
